Every comparison on this site follows the same editorial routine. This page sets it out so you can decide how much weight to give what we publish.
1. Drawing the boundaries of a comparison
Before research starts, an editor fixes the treatment category, the city or region and the kind of facility the page will cover. A page about laser clinics in Ho Chi Minh City, for example, leaves out hair salons that happen to sell laser hair removal, and a cosmetic surgery comparison is limited to providers that say they operate in a medical setting.
2. Where our information comes from
We rely on material a reader could open too: the provider's own website, public licence and practitioner lookups where they exist, notices from health authorities and published institutional documents. Booking-app reviews, influencer posts and paid listings are not treated as evidence. When a detail comes only from the provider, we present it as the provider's own statement rather than as something we confirmed independently.
3. What an editor looks for
- Whether the provider presents itself as a licensed medical facility, and for which type of care
- Whether named doctors or dentists, and their specialties, are published
- Which procedures are offered, and whether surgical and non-surgical work are clearly separated
- What the provider says about the origin of its devices, fillers, toxins and implants
- How consultations, written quotes, aftercare and follow-up visits are described
- Practical access: location, opening hours and the languages offered
When something is missing, we say so. We do not fill gaps with assumptions.
4. How entries are ordered
The order reflects how closely an entry matches the page's scope and how complete and checkable its public information is. It does not measure surgical skill, safety record or results, and it should not be read as advice to choose one provider over another.
5. Descriptions and images
Each entry has a description written for that specific page. Images are kept in our own media library instead of being loaded from another website.
6. Money and independence
Providers cannot pay for inclusion, position or wording, and we take no referral fees or commissions. If sponsored content is ever introduced, it will be labelled and kept apart from the comparisons.
7. Corrections
If you spot an error, send us the page, the detail that should change and a source we can check, by email to info@vietnamaesthetics.com or through the contact form. We change a page when the source supports the change; a request on its own is not enough. Providers can ask for updates the same way.
Limits of a comparison
A comparison is a snapshot of public information on the date it was checked. Prices, staff, licences and services change, so confirm them with the provider before you decide anything. Nothing on this page or in a comparison is medical advice.
