Information, not advice
Everything on Vietnam Aesthetics is general information about aesthetic, cosmetic and dental aesthetic care. It is not a consultation, a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and it cannot take into account your skin, health history, medicines or goals. Only a qualified doctor or dentist who assesses you in person can tell you whether a procedure is suitable for you.
No relationship with you or with a provider
Reading a page, clicking through to a clinic or writing to us creates no patient relationship between you and Vietnam Aesthetics or any provider we mention, and we cannot act on your behalf with a clinic.
Results are individual
The outcome of a cosmetic procedure differs from one person to the next. Healing time, scarring, changes in pigmentation and the need for repeat or corrective treatment depend on factors no website can predict. Before-and-after pictures published by clinics show selected cases and cannot tell you what your own result will be.
Every procedure carries risk
Injectables, lasers, chemical peels, thread lifts, cosmetic surgery and aesthetic dental work can all lead to complications, and some of them are serious. Ask the provider who will carry out the procedure, which product or device will be used and where it was sourced, how complications are managed, and whom you can reach outside opening hours. Treatment in unlicensed premises adds risk.
Inclusion is not endorsement
A provider's presence in a comparison is not a recommendation to be treated there, nor confirmation of its licence, practitioners, prices or results at the moment you read the page. Confirm those details directly with the provider.
Keep health details out of messages to us
Please do not send photographs, symptoms, medical records, treatment plans or information about any identifiable patient through our forms or by email. We cannot review them and will not reply with advice.
If something goes wrong after a treatment
Seek medical care at once if you develop severe pain, redness or swelling that spreads, fever, difficulty breathing, changes in your vision, or skin that turns pale, grey or dark. In Vietnam the medical emergency number is currently 115, and calls are usually answered in Vietnamese. The authorities have announced plans to merge the country's emergency numbers, so if you are unsure, check the UK government's current advice on getting help in Vietnam. Contact the clinic that treated you as well, but never wait for the clinic, or for us, before getting help.
